The rays raise the rhythmA
Smiling faces upon smiley subtextsB
Dawn draws daffodilsB
Morning means merryC
-
Chrysanthemums and rosemarys their scented stalks they submitD
Bougainvillea and dandelion danceB
Lillies lively lure lifeE
The doors are daring againF
Immortals praise the MortalG
For a second chanceB
-
Kittens puppies kids all gyrateH
The fog of fear lost they celebrateH
The sun in cheer burns bravely none to alienateH
Children pile out a new day to inaugurateD
-
Streets stream with celebratory treatsB
Paintings dull out past painI
Sullenness and sickness retreatsB
Novel tunes and songs are heardJ
-
Offices purr with pleasant soundsB
Businesses peak in boundsB
Sports settle the sad scoresB
The rain washes away the sad soresB
-
Churches chime in chorusB
Halls heal from hefty lossesB
Arenas are attractive againF
Discotheques their lights regainI
-
Life soon a lease obtainsB
As do planes ships cars and trainsB
Caution will soon be a forgotten notionK
Though it be the cause of life preservationK
-
Meanwhile today is a bed of basilsB
A Melody of mintsB
An orchestra of orchidsB
And a party of primrosesB
Yesterdays thorns and cactus have witheredJ
