A warming smileA
could run a thousand milesB
A heart sweet and pureC
just like these of fruitD

Loving and caring all his daysE
and still finding the waysE
to broken hearts hiddenF
accross the oceans of EarthG

He mixes waves andH
rainbows to combineI
a soul with love andH
senses of freedomJ

He gave me laughterK
He gave me freedomJ
He gave me a whole heartL
He gave me a new soulM
-
A man with dignity and graceN
stole a pearl in the nightO
from the broken clam hidden deepP
accross the oceans of EarthG

Poet's note: I wrote this poem to someone very special to me that helped me through difficult situations. I want to express the feeling of love, caring and friendship within this poem. This poem helped me notice that from the sorrow of the past, there will always be someone waiting to save you from your sorrows in the future.
