The Potter's Clay Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD AEFGH AIAFEJ AAKDL

I'm nothing but a lump of clay in the potter's handA
Formless and shapeless with no useB
Meaningless and bound to failC
Of all those around He scoops me upD
-
I'm nothing but a lump of clay in the potter's handA
For my fate is determined by my masterE
To make a perfect finish with meF
Have Thine own way Master have thine own wayG
For I'm the clay mold me after your willH
-
I'm nothing but a lump of clay in the potter's handA
As he begins kneading my groovesI
I feel the great warmth of His handA
Which stretches me mercilesslyF
In distress I realized I need the grace of the potterE
Helpless I am for it's so unbearableJ
-
I'm nothing but a lump of clay in the potter's handA
Just clay in His handA
He keeps molding and shaping me for a good causeK
He smooths out my edges and builds me upD
For I know the potter possesses great plansL
