Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIF JKFFL MNOOP QRSTO

At night her pillow is made wetA
With the tears that snake down her chinB
Thinking about a glorious pastC
That has been shattered by surpriseD
Which can't be pricedE
-
Bitterness she drinks each nightF
Thinking about what tomorrow will bringG
With so many mouths to feedH
Lonely as she lay thinking of needsI
Trying to be optimistic day and nightF
-
Hustling each day with hopeJ
Oh God Bless my struggleK
Let my ways be rightF
And my investment flies like a kiteF
Elevate me to higher heightsL
-
Clinging to hopelessnessM
Never bein' able to separateN
Oh my heart is so sadO
It's making me feel sadO
Struggling in this lonely worldP
-
I wish a wishQ
A dream of brighter days was washed awayR
Shameful and confused I becameS
For there is no one to open up toT
I lost the only pal l hadO
