| Bloodless trees dissolve in smoke | B |
| And shadows hover where shrieks are heard | C |
| Burning beasts evaporate like breath | D |

| Captured flies are the gas lanterns | E |
| And each flickers still attempting to escape | F |
| But to one side high in the distance the poisonous moon | G |
| The fat fog spider lies in wait smoldering | H |

| We however loathsome suited for death | D |
| Trample along crunching this desert splendor | I |
| And silently stab the white eyes of misery | A |
| Like spears into the swollen night | J |
