It was in the noon tide
When the firmaments were bright
With the sun smiling caringly on the children of nature
That I first ran into a dark cloud
Hanging up above heads
somewhere in the north.
At first, it seemed minimal and light
But each and every day it expands
And become darker that I see nothing

Just yesterday
It visited a neighbour,
Made away with their boy
And recruited him her own
He used to be a humble child
But now what words will one say, to free his soul
Save the new philosophy running in his veins?

As I was still contemplating this
It escaped my eyes and headed towards the north east
Few minutes’ after
There came a cry
From a distant land
When I asked?
They said darkness dawn on a certain family
And consumed their two sons.

With its dark flames,
It cremated the body of the other
Living only his ashes.

Now what is left is a father
Bearing the remains of the other
Slaughtered by the sharp edge of the dark days!

As I was still trying to take this in
Another cry came towards the north west
Two brothers set ablaze
In the room, during the dark hours

Oh! What an hour
That see not the innocent
As a saint.
