| Reaching it my head rises from the depths of waters | D |
| Looking around nothing is all I see | E |

| No land no ship no raft no aircraft | G |
| I panic I am alone and lost | H |

| Another violent wave crushes over my head | I |
| I panic I fight hard | J |
| It fights back pulling me under | K |
| Stronger and colder | K |
| I am sinking | L |
| Sinking in despair as I helplessly see the surface disappear | M |
| Sinking in despair as I come on my last breath | N |
| They taught me how to swim so I will neve drown | O |
| Here I am sinking | L |

Poet's note: Sinking is a human study of troubles one goes through in life. While they are problems that can be so,bed in the world we live once in a while we run into one with no solution . No one could ever prepare you for such a challenge no matter how much you have prepared yourself.
The poem was written by me me for me in remembrance of one of my darkest moments in life.
