Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJ KAAAA LMNHO AHPLQ HRSTU VWXVS YKZA2J

A sun that shines most of the yearA
A summer that comes in time for ChristmasB
Hoe carrying women that till the landC
Whore loving men who keep the economy turningD
People of various opinions who don t give a damn who rules themE
-
The vote comes the vote goesF
The same people steal the voiceG
Because none gives a damn when it s all doneH
Life goes on all the same even when the voice is goneI
Still they believe above sails the snitching droneJ
-
Yes they force you to sing the freedom songK
When in your heart you feel the chains clangorA
And anemic tears of blood suffocate your ardorA
Another term of politicking comes and concurA
Still the masses keep their trust in the freedom charterA
-
Even as the life gets harder for the POVOL
The politicians still feel the vibe to carry onM
Stealing from the trust of the forlorn mindN
Feeding from the lies of the professionH
Enjoying the orgasm of the dirty gameO
-
The revolution they claim is far from overA
Another war will be fought they threatenH
Just to keep the people frightenedP
Intimidated the masses will believeL
In the lies that no one can ever lead a country fast falling apartQ
-
The Zimbabwe that I know was born of a true revolutionH
Led by true revolutionaries with souls that sacrificedR
With ideals that cared for the peopleS
And yes the revolution has been usurpedT
By serpents of the dark corridorsU
-
Now the vipers purr in their pagan psalmsV
Positioning themselves for the killer punchW
No no no the spirit of Zimbabwe will not allowX
Cowards in steel cardigans and girdlesV
To take over the will of the peopleS
-
Zimbabwe our Zimbabwe is not mortgagedY
By an armed struggle we all partookK
It is the jewel to grace our freedom headZ
It is our rain to cool the hot summers we enduredA2
Our Zimbabwe our house of stoneJ
