At The Seaside Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFGHICJEKEEL

The beach was invitingA
A balm to my stressed soulB
The salty ocean air was impish todayC
It hugged me and caressed my napeD
It even tried to lift my skirt above my knees but I held onto it tightlyE
The little white waves came running towards meE
Giggling and splashing sea water over my toes and upon my anklesF
One large swell rolled me over and shouldered me underG
Drenched I played with the wavesH
Soon I swam over to the bobbing boats to restI
A seagull hovered over me before flying awayC
Before the tide could recede I swam back to the shoreJ
I walked along the beach collecting shells which took my fancyE
The warm sand was delighted to feel my bare feetK
And as the sun went down the sky was splashed in peach and orange and purple coloursE
The sun's warmth still lingered on meE
I decided to head homeL
