O youth! O passion for living, embrace
me once again! Open the gates
of freedom so I can cross over and
bathe in thy lovely streams of innocence.
I carry upon my being the filth
and deception of adulthood. As my
years have grown, my happiness, strength
and lust for life have faded!
I no longer ask that most dreadful question
"Why?" and have accepted all Worldly
lies as truth.
Survival is now the game I play. It's
a new form of hide and seek. I'll try
to get away with as much as possible
while you prove I did something wrong!
HA! Lies are now my alibis and truth
is but treason to my living soul!
I dare not say what's on my mind, for fear that
the guardians of manipulation and ignorance
will beat me to a pulp until my desire to exist
became null!
I no longer live a REAL life!
I admit now that reality is but a two-way mirror
that I am unaware of!
Maybe one day that mirror will be broken and I'll become
whole again.
Who knows?
I can only pray for such a Heavenly illusion!
