You have cheated on meA
You enjoyed her in bed didn't youB
She was better than me wasn't sheA
Don't just stare at me answer meA
You made love to herC
So says your son what do you sayD
-
I say let's not wash our dirty clothes outsideE
I can't deny these alligationsD
Trust dies because bad pay poisons himF
I did enjoyed her but its you I loveG
Blame me not its my faultH
I did right but I accept my mistakeI
I was a mendicant in her landJ
I was a victim of her CecityJ
She was of royaltyJ
And I had no objections to her demandsD
-
Oh come onK
You are fearless and braveL
You slay thousands withM
A sling of your swordJ
I am not convincedJ
But I understand youB
The power of a womanN
The strength of a womanN
Lies in her mouthO
Her tongue sweet as sugarC
Deceitful as Lucifar beautiful like a serpentJ
You fell victim to herC
Just like you were to meJ
On our first encounterC
So I forgive youB
-
Can I hold you nowP
Can I touchQ
I miss your soft velvet skinR
Your sweet tendernessD
And all your perfect imperfectionsD
Being in the battle field for uncountable daysD
And now it feels like harmonyJ
Your presence is like heaven to meJ
I am with you nowP
And forever moreS

Poet's note: This poem was inspired by just a scene in the movie "Vikings" where Ragnar went to raid and slept with a different woman and later his wife La Gatha found out and approached him right after he returned from his raid.
