Lost Turf Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRST UVW X

If the diviners summon me todayA
To unite with them in paradiseB
I want to be sowed with an axeC
Perching on my chest like the ravenD
Flapping above my still remainsE
With my hands entwinedF
Around the handle like I was in a war frontG
And the handle soldered to my palmH
I want to be laid in peaceI
With my heart at peace with the worldJ
Even though it didn't extendK
The pleasure I was desiring forL
Some men lust for women and others lust for goldM
But I only lust to please the godsN
So if I am eventually summonedO
And I am to voyage from the livingP
Sail me across the seven seasQ
Torch my ship with flames of arrowsR
So Oden can inhale me from a scopeS
As I continue to guarantee my patriotismT
With the axe on my chest readyU
To crack the skulls of anyone who dared to defyV
Their names even in the turf of lost soulsW
