The Aquarium Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE CFGHI JKKLAJ KMKNCOPQ KARSQTUF V

One fine morningA
I went to a fish storeB
And bought tropical fishesC
In their brightest striking huesD
Blue yellow red and orangeE
-
I kept and displayed the fishesC
In our fifty gallon aquariumF
The aquatic creaturesG
Created aesthetic appealH
In our living roomI
-
The elegant sway of their bodiesJ
As they swim swiftlyK
And synchronouslyK
Brings fun and happinessL
As if I am travelingA
In the majestic seasJ
-
The sun has set its gloryK
And the bright moon appearedM
With its glorious beautyK
Its light seared through the windowN
And illuminated the fishesC
Guiding them as they moveO
Within the confinesP
Of a mere glass boxQ
-
Sadness overcomes meK
And now I am havingA
Two opposite views in my mindR
I am happy seeing the fishes everydayS
In a glass boxQ
Yet I am wracked by guiltT
Of robbing their precious homeU
And abusing their treasured freedomF
