Always A Child Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFE GGHIJ KILMI LNOPQO RSTNUVW GOX GYO Z

Like a soft shellA
Afraid that she might be squashedB
When I hold her tightC
It makes me feelD
Like I am walkingE
Through egg shellsF
Every single morningE
-
My childG
Will always be a childG
I will spend a whole lifeH
Taking care of herI
Mourning for her lost potentialsJ
-
Every waking momentK
I will worry about herI
What if I will be goneL
Will there be someoneM
Who will ever comfort herI
-
What if I am goneL
Who will put a smileN
On her face so dearlyO
And when she criesP
Who will wipe every tearQ
From her eyes tenderlyO
-
But she is my lucky charmR
Her weaknessesS
Are my strengthsT
Her single smileN
Brought a million joysU
And simple triumphsV
Are the sweetest of allW
-
My beloved childG
Is the keeper of my keyO
Toward God's KingdomX
-
My beloved childG
Will unlockY
The Gates of Heaven for meO
