The Mermaid Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABBCCCCDCEECCFFGG DHIJKKLLMMNO

Through the gates of purple twilight under seaA
sound of sirens moving with the kelp forest silentlyA
In play of that light swarms of fish in synchronicityA
attracting passage into central deep intentionallyA
Low adown a different light like fountain of goldB
a open theater of majestic brilliance to unfoldB
On an coral altar a coiled Mermaid so fairC
glistering shine by emerald eloquent glareC
Large gorgeous eyes slim and dark pearly hairC
tender bosom marble sculpture fairC
Transitory dreams seem surrounding herD
singing of a time that is to come to bareC
That false hearts and broken vowsE
bouncing back by natural balance ploughsE
Some live long minutes need truest to dareC
assisting foes in their greatest vain to prepareC
That the blind ignorance of waste has its priceF
and invisible viruses spreading to enticeF
Where isolation and self pity will proceedG
credited indulgence and its deedG
The despised truth and its manicureD
trivial perception enslaved in poorH
Mother earth and her salty tearsI
dire souls need to overcome its fearsJ
If love is the living water salty and sweet highK
it will touch the impossibility to amplifyK
The shores of new worlds still to exploreL
the mind wants to know what is beyond for moreL
Divine thoughts should be applied even in vainM
then motions are constant in the ocean of the brainM
The living oceans are the soul s true resourcesN
the body of water and its delicate coursesO
