| MY WIFE S SURGERY | B |

| I know you're worried about your surgery | B |
| But things will turn out fine | C |
| By Thursday you'll be back home resting | D |
| We ll take it one day at a time | E |

| There ll be dishes laundry and cleaning | D |
| But none of that needs to be done today | F |
| We ll take it slow one day at a time | E |
| And do what the doctors say | F |

| I ll cook and clean until you re up and around | G |
| You ve got your favorite TV shows and your phone | H |
| That ll keep you busy most of the day | F |
| It s hard to stay in bed but at least you ll be home | I |

| You know I don t hear well so I placed a Little button | A |
| Right beside your bed | J |
| And if you yell and I don t hear you | K |
| Push the little button and I ll come to hear what you said | J |

| And when you re feeling well and can travel | L |
| We could go to the mountains to see your sister Fay | F |
| And maybe to North Carolina to see my brother | M |
| But that s a long trip and takes more than a day | F |
