My Wife s Surgery By Richard MartinA
-
-
MY WIFE S SURGERYB
-
I know you're worried about your surgeryB
But things will turn out fineC
By Thursday you'll be back home restingD
We ll take it one day at a timeE
-
There ll be dishes laundry and cleaningD
But none of that needs to be done todayF
We ll take it slow one day at a timeE
And do what the doctors sayF
-
I ll cook and clean until you re up and aroundG
You ve got your favorite TV shows and your phoneH
That ll keep you busy most of the dayF
It s hard to stay in bed but at least you ll be homeI
-
You know I don t hear well so I placed a Little buttonA
Right beside your bedJ
And if you yell and I don t hear youK
Push the little button and I ll come to hear what you saidJ
-
And when you re feeling well and can travelL
We could go to the mountains to see your sister FayF
And maybe to North Carolina to see my brotherM
But that s a long trip and takes more than a dayF
