Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGBBA HIJK LLLM NOA MPPPPWhat humility it must be | A |
For in a Manger laid the Holy the King | B |
No earthly inn could we use for the win | C |
To host the King of kings | D |
- | |
The ruler of the world | E |
Humbly HE served | F |
By washing HIS creations feet | G |
Helping and healing | B |
Instead of appealing | B |
And forcing authority | A |
- | |
Now not only that | H |
Here is yet another fact | I |
That Jesus THE SON and the express image of the Living God | J |
Had to hang as if off guard | K |
- | |
With no cloth on HIS loin | L |
Just so HE could join | L |
with no contribution or coin | L |
From me or you to HIMSELF | M |
- | |
The KING bore the lashes | N |
When we were meant for ashes | O |
And went down to redeem the Key | A |

Took our sin upon HIMSELF | M |
To satisfy HIS Just need | P |
And all of a sudden we did not need to plead | P |
The price was paid indeed | P |
Oh yes the very expensive price was paid indeed | P |
