from this brand new prodigy	A
Please understand this apology	A
as the word prodigy might not mean what you think	B
so my apologies	C

The meaning i am trying to feature	D
is that it is out of the ordinary course of nature	D
and therefore not a boasting picture	D
But rather a picture of the power of Christ	E
To change my life	F
So my apologies	C

This is actually a serious matter	D
and I am not just trying to blabber	D
words without meaning	G
or rhyme without reason	H
or words that would just be pleasing	G
So my apologies	C
	-
This is for people in my past	I
all i am asking is to hold fast	I
and listen to me cast	I
what seems like a feeble apology	A
for the things I have said and done	H
For some this is at last	I
For others the pain might still last	I
and for that	J
I give my most sincere apologies	C
	-
The only thing I have to show for this	K
is actually the condolences for the death of a man called ME	A
He died a sinner and not a saint	L
therefore I'm asking you not to hate	M
but to rather congratulate	M
	-
Congratulate You might ask	N
	-
Yes because that sinner came to a cross	O
where he was shown who was actually boss	P
and died there on the spot	Q
But then the miraculous	R
It was completely fabulous	R
A spiritual resurrection	H
and perfection injected	S
to a dirty old rag like me	A
As perfection was injected	S
a brand new prodigy manifested	S

Here i am thinking of the pain I had caused	T
The heartache that I caused	T
The stress that I have caused	T
And for this all I can only offer words	U
The words that come from the bottom of my heart	V
