Few hours pictures on s/media,
Nonga gone too early, mortuary ices like that we bought Sunday after church
What to think then, soil one me after relatives to come,
Temperature is above normal in a coffin can't scream
When I was a kid,
Smiles filled my face,
Even with porridge for lunch,
I still felt comforted,
Well breakfast black coffee one slice of dry toast no butter no jelly no jam
Lunch just some lettuce two celery stalks no booze no potatoes no ham
Dinner one chicken wing broiled not fried no gravy no biscuits no pie
And this dietin' dietin' dietin' dietin' sure is a rough way to die
Bugsa Bunny you're the sanest man
in all Italia last hope for risorgimento
singing Santa Lucia in the barber shop
glorious ears twitching your gondola

करोडों में नहाकर और गंदा हुआ
चवन्नी जो पाया मज़ा आ गया

The Globe and Mail, January 25, 1979.

A Poor Child
What a frolic torture it is?!

A poor child with nothing to eat.
Pizza! Chicken! Burger! or meat!
On stormy nights, they run to me for shelter,
I gave them clothes, bread and butter,
I took them in, I became their brother,
In the night, they poisoned my pizza;
