OUR NATION IS ILLA
Doom Days DrumB
Blood and war on the hillA
The centre is shatteredC
And everyman for himselfD
-
No one cares for cureE
The Excellency are pretendersF
The honours are JudasG
And justiceG
-
Expensive for the poorH
Affordable for the richI
The Beautiful ones are JailedJ
The Mafias get bailedJ
-
The Prince eats the grassK
The Servants eat the CakeL
The Doctors can t diagnoseM
The hospital is over stretchedN
-
Tears and sorrowO
At every home and streetP
Hope and fearQ
Hang on every tongueR
-
If you ask for justice Like khadir AhmedS
Your citizenship is questionT
If you sing praise like KeyamoB
You are the son of the soilU
-
Dare not speak to powerV
That their song has no rhythmB
That their Drum as no patternW
Or Jail is your homeB
-
Ask Adeyanju Ask AnikulapoX
-
Who will see our tearsY
And dry our rivers of sorrowO
Those who care can not seeZ
Those with sight care notA2
-
To heaven we all look up for freedomB
But heaven has no answerV
In our Palm lies freedomB
Freedom comes via the crossB2
-
Let all lace their boothC2
And match to the fieldD2
Death or FreedomB
Must be our pledgeE2
-
Sit Smile and SufferV
Not our songF2
Blood or peaceG2
Our Nation must be healedD2
