Long are daysA
We used to sleepB
With all eyes closedC
Without a watchD
-
How dare you nowE
Yet with battalions of watchD
Eyes openedF
All housed in fearG
-
Just a knock on the doorH
Every one is shatteredI
Men are groaningJ
Women are mourningJ
-
Children are whimperingJ
The Rich are bereftK
The Poor are in GriefL
Who are theyM
-
The Gentle men of the HighwayM
SaluteN
Who can dare themO
The untouchable bossP
-
Where is the GeneralQ
Oga is asleep at the villaR
Or on the board as usualQ
Like a tour guardS
-
We areT
Helpless hopeless and homelessU
Now we live in grip of fearG
As we watch for ourselvesV
