The Never Misquote Irony Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAAD EFED GFHIJD D IDED DKHHLLGL

When a politician says a nude lieA
Nothing for sure is ironical about thatB
Good liars make perfect politiciansC
But when a priest tells a lieA
Yet he is the trustworthy servant of most highA
I think it is the time one must talk of ironyD
-
When a poor man dies out of constipationE
Nothing should strike one as ironicalF
But should a rich man kick the bucket as a result of starvationE
Then we must talk of ironyD
-
A common man offering a stool to a kingG
Does nothing ironicalF
It is what everyone should expects of himH
But when a king stands up for a commonerI
WOWJ
It is now the best example of ironyD
-
Do not misquote ironyD
-
When things happen in the normal orderI
There is no need to think of ironyD
But when things contrary to expectation happenE
It is only safest to mention ironyD
-
When Satan kneels down and begs angels for mercyD
Then we must all stand up and give him a clapK
It is all we ve always anticipated of himH
But when the angels worship himH
We must all shut our eyes and block our earsL
We must all rush back to our mothers wombsL
shoutingG
What a fine but silly irony we couldn t afford to experienceL
