| Stole from beneath her lashes and upon | J |
| The forehead of the beautiful child lay soft | L |
| With the baptismal water Then I thought | M |
| That to the eye of God that mother's tears | K |
| Would be a deeper covenant which sin | N |
| And the temptations of the world and death | O |
| Would leave unbroken and that she would know | P |
| In the clear light of heaven how very strong | Q |
| The prayer which press'd them from her heart had been | N |
| In leading its young spirit up to God | R |
