I Will Smile Again Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEE GGH

If only you knew my pains so deepA
You'd at least offer solace with a gentle hugB
Yet unseen sorrows in my heart they creepA
Beneath the surface like a hidden plugB
-
Hmmmn If only you could see beyond my smilesC
You'd glimpse the ocean of my tears untamedD
Concealed beneath the laughter that beguilesC
A tempest of emotions unnamedD
-
But know this truth that amidst the silent rainE
One thing I know is I will surely smile againF
Through trials and tribulations I'll maintainE
For hope's sweet promise soothes all earthly painE
-
Though the darkness lingers hope will light the wayG
And with each tear shed lies a brighter dayG
Yes There's still a better tomorrowH
