I Will Smile Again

If only you knew my pains so deep,
You'd at least offer solace with a gentle hug,
Yet unseen sorrows in my heart, they creep,
Beneath the surface like a hidden plug.

Hmmmn! If only you could see beyond my smiles,
You'd glimpse the ocean of my tears, untamed,
Concealed beneath the laughter that beguiles,
A tempest of emotions, unnamed.

But know this truth, that amidst the silent rain,
One thing I know is, I will surely smile again.
Through trials and tribulations, I'll maintain,
For hope's sweet promise soothes all earthly pain.

Though the darkness lingers, hope will light the way,
And with each tear shed, lies a brighter day.
Yes! There's still a better tomorrow.
