Children of Conflict Torn NationA
-
Each child of this sealed countryB
Dedicated to the ruined wallsC
Willing not to get out of his homeD
Weak but strangely at warE
With clods stones and pebbles in handF
Raising up slogans against occupationA
You are thrusting us to live in siegeG
Your killing and maiming is for profitH
Our resistance and fighting is for existenceI
Living on our land with peace and honourE
The creator created me a delicate angelJ
My parents bathed and clothed me for peaceK
Not for conflict with any visitor to my gardenA
I would sing the songs of peaceK
On windows and walking through streetsL
If you leave me free if you stop war on meB
I will search my toys and coins in BugiesL
From beneath the debris of my houseL
Give me my joy and toy backM
I will again sing a song for you and meB
Let me go to school daily fearlesslyJ
Let me plant the green trees aroundN
Let me make water bodies cleanO
Let me work hard to earn my livingP
Let me make birthland safe and secureE
Yet it needs peace Peace peace peaceL
