Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFCGHC GGCIJCKLMG NOLPCEQRSG

At first I felt a spark of love for AishaA
Now it feels like a burning flameB
I m becoming more and more attached to herC
We talk about this and thatD
But she hasn t told me the most important thingE
And I haven t said the chief thing I want sayF
She s unaware of my feelings for herC
And I don t know whether or not she loves meG
I ll wait because it pays to be patientH
Time will reveal the way I feel about herC
-
Aisha is such a vivacious young ladyG
The night she shared her songbook with meG
Something made me love herC
I don t know what it wasI
But I wonder if it made her love me tooJ
I d be so delighted to marry herC
And I d certainly make her a happy wifeK
She s a polite and amusing personL
Every time I talk to her I lose control of myselfM
Is there something the matter with meG
-
She entertains me with singing and dramaN
And I concentrate on her performancesO
Perhaps if I try to kiss her I ll spoil our funL
I guess I shouldn t rush thingsP
She ll find out that I love her sooner or laterC
I ve never met someone so exhilaratingE
Her etiquette is admirableQ
We re incognizant of each other s loveR
Yet we hug each other with fondnessS
Does she think I love her as I think she loves meG
