The Land Called Africa Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE

Oh Lord I want to go back where I m from before my hair turns greyA
Every day I think of my beautiful homeland that lies far away from hereB
I miss the foggy mountains the wide rivers and the sunny fieldsC
My heart preserves the memories of the peaceful days of long agoD
And someday I ll return to the place of my origin the land called AfricaE
