The Blue Walls Of My Bedroom Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH DIJKLMNJF FOFCPBFF

The walls of my bedroom reflect my sadnessA
Who painted them blue I wonderB
They just stand here with nothing to doC
I am alone with these four walls every nightD
I kneel down and pray to the LordE
And I beg Him to send a pretty girl to love meF
I have heard the saying Walls have earsG
That is why I share my deep thoughts with themH
-
Who goes to sleep with me at nightD
Who wakes up with me in the morningI
There is no one beside me in bedJ
So I speak to the blue walls of my bedroomK
I look around the lonely placeL
And I see the furniture and the silent wallsM
I frequently pace the tiled floorN
I ask the walls questions that baffle my headJ
But they cannot respond to meF
-
Who is fed up with life and going crazyF
Who soliloquizes day after dayO
If the walls could talk they would say it is meF
Nobody knows what I am going throughC
I need to find a maid before I lose my mindP
How long shall I wait for a loverB
When will a sweet girl belong to meF
I wish the walls of my bedroom could tell meF
