Swedish Lady Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GGHIJK LMLNOP QRSLLL

Here comes that pretty Swedish lady againA
I see her on the road most morningsB
She only tells me hello when she s passingC
And I only say hi to her in responseD
How I want her to say something elseE
I m not satisfied with just hello all the timeF
-
Her smile seems to be inviting a conversationG
I suppose she s a traditional personG
Perhaps she wants me to make the first moveH
I m not sure she could be just shyI
Does her heart pound when she greets meJ
I wonder if she thinks the same way I doK
-
Even though I d like to know more about herL
I won t ask the Swedish lady her nameM
I stand at my gate in the morning just to see herL
But I don t want her to know about thisN
If she starts a conversation with me I d be gladO
Every time I woo a girl I don t succeedP
-
I don t want to tell her nice things in vainQ
So I won t say she s the prettiest lady I ve ever seenR
I won t tell her that I like the way she walksS
Neither will I say she s the lady I desireL
And I m not going to tell her that I m falling for herL
I ll just tell her hi whenever I see herL
