Religious Beliefs And Practices Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDD EFGHI DJKLK MLENO PEQPR PSTUV| A belief is not a fact unless it has been proven a fact | A |
| Religious beliefs are no different from secular beliefs in this regard | B |
| You teach religious beliefs and stories that you cannot prove | C |
| And you want people to accept your beliefs as facts without question | D |
| You even shun people who reject your religious doctrine | D |
| - | |
| Your religious teaching is primarily based on hearsay | E |
| Where were you when the things you talk about allegedly happened | F |
| How do you know that what you have heard is true | G |
| You relay unverified information that ancient people invented | H |
| And this is tantamount to the spreading of rumours | I |
| - | |
| No evidence exists that God wants money to spend in heaven | D |
| The Bible does not say Jesus used to collect money for his ministry | J |
| And Jesus never told his disciples to collect money from people | K |
| So why do you collect money in God s name and in Jesus name | L |
| Is that not a fraudulent scheme to enrich yourselves off the faithful | K |
| - | |
| Your claim that you run a non profit religious organization is fraudulent | M |
| Reality shows that there is absolutely no truth to that claim | L |
| People do not only profit from things in a monetary way | E |
| The verb profit also means to obtain an advantage and to benefit | N |
| You declare that you run a non profit organization to evade taxes | O |
| - | |
| You obviously have a big misconception about voluntary work | P |
| Let us say you work for a religious organization without pay | E |
| But you benefit from the work materially or in other ways | Q |
| Would you honestly regard this as real voluntary work | P |
| Voluntary work is in fact free work with no strings attached | R |
| - | |
| Here is an example to refute your claim that you do voluntary work | P |
| An organization provides you with a motor vehicle and dwelling | S |
| And you travel abroad eat and drink at the organization s expense | T |
| If you obtain such benefits and advantages for your service | U |
| That would not be voluntary work whether you accept it or not | V |
