Monday Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HIJKLMF NOFPKM NQRSTRA SRNUMM

I woke up before dawn in a confused state of mindA
And I stayed awake until daylightB
It was a Monday morning and I had nothing to doC
I couldn't cope with the trials of life anymoreD
Contentious people kept looking for troubleE
I wanted to find happiness and serenity even for a dayF
So I left home in a hurry for a long walkG
-
It was the first time I forgot to wear a maskH
I bought one from a female vendor on the roadsideI
My shadow was right under my feetJ
I wasn't sure where I was goingK
But I had to go somewhere to meditateL
I was walking aimlessly in the hot sunM
Lots of vehicles drove past me along the wayF
-
I walked a few miles until I ended up at the parkN
There were many settings from which to chooseO
I sat on a hard bench near the walkwayF
A strong cool wind was blowing from the eastP
The limbs of the trees were shakingK
I relaxed in the shade of the Bauhinia x blakeanaM
-
A number of people were in the parkN
Some were sitting by themselvesQ
Others were sitting in twos and in groupsR
Children were playing everywhereS
And there was a peaceful atmosphereT
The lawn was covered with beautiful crabgrassR
Oil palms were waving in the windA
-
I felt like writing something while I was thereS
And I wrote this poem about my experienceR
I spent exactly four hours in the parkN
The time slipped away faster than I expectedU
I didn't intend to leave the location so soonM
But I left when I received a phone call from someoneM
