It's A Small Price To Pay Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHB IBJKLMEBN

Though I ll grieve and fall apart when you goA
It s a small price to pay for meeting youB
If my ears won t hear your sweet words againC
I ll never forget the sound of your voiceD
And if this is the last time you ll kiss meE
I ll always remember the sweetness of your lipsF
Our romance will end tomorrow morningG
And I ll lose the thrill of your womanly charmH
But I m still glad that I fell in love with youB
-
Though I ll miss you and my heart will breakI
I ll pay the price for making love to youB
If we didn t start this temporary relationshipJ
I d never behold the beauty of your smileK
And I d never know the warmth of your embraceL
We ll go our separate ways after tonightM
I need you and I wish you could stay with meE
But I d rather taste your love and lose youB
Than never had the chance to love you this wayN
