I Misunderstood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBCD CEFGHI BBJCK IBLLML NOCBP QQRAS

The most beautiful lady refused my loveA
I saw her looking at me provocativelyB
My heart leapt when I beheld such beautyB
She showed signs of affection for meB
And I anxiously want to speak to herC
I was confused so I was bound to fall in a trapD
-
I politely introduced myself to herC
And she gladly told me her first nameE
My self confidence was too highF
So I asked the lady out on a dateG
I didn t think she d turn down my requestH
But I was wrong about everythingI
-
My wild emotion and imagination led me falselyB
I thought the lady had a crush on meB
On the contrary she emphatically said NoJ
She shattered my hope of becoming her suitorC
I felt so dejected lost and incompleteK
-
Her response gave me a sad feelingI
She didn t feel the same way about meB
What a pity she couldn t see my heartL
She unintentionally tore it apartL
I d have collected the bits and piecesM
But I just didn t know where to startL
-
Perhaps she thought I insulted her intelligenceN
But that idea didn t come up in my mindO
She might have stayed a little longerC
But she left because I asked her if she loved meB
I looked abashed when she shook her headP
-
She only wanted a friendly conversationQ
Clearly I misunderstood the situationQ
My rash attempt resulted in embarrassmentR
I took the wrong approach to loveA
The next time I meet a lady I ll use tactful wordsS
