| I saw her looking at me provocatively | B |
| My heart leapt when I beheld such beauty | B |
| She showed signs of affection for me | B |
| And I anxiously wanted to speak to her | C |
| I was confused so I was bound to fall in a trap | D |

| And she gladly told me her first name | E |
| My self confidence was too high | F |
| So I asked the lady out on a date | G |
| I didn t think she d turn down my request | H |
| But I was wrong about everything | I |

| My wild emotion and imagination led me falsely | B |
| I thought the lady had a crush on me | B |
| On the contrary she emphatically said No | J |
| She shattered my hope of becoming her suitor | C |
| I felt so dejected lost and incomplete | K |

| Her response gave me a sad feeling | I |
| She didn t feel the same way about me | B |
| What a pity she couldn t see my heart | L |
| She unintentionally tore it apart | L |
| I d have collected the bits and pieces | M |
| But I just didn t know where to start | L |

| Perhaps she thought I insulted her intelligence | N |
| But that idea didn t come up in my mind | O |
| She might have stayed a little longer | C |
| But she left because I asked her if she loved me | B |
| I looked abashed when she shook her head | P |

| She only wanted a friendly conversation | Q |
| Clearly I misunderstood the situation | Q |
| My rash attempt resulted in embarrassment | R |
| I took the wrong approach to love | A |
| The next time I meet a lady I ll use tactful words | S |
