That’s it; I’ve had it with poetry
I’m not going to write any more poems
I have nothing else to say
Who values my work?
I’m through with imagination

Poetry is a heap of rubbish!
I don’t even want to read it
I quit writing from now on
It’s not benefiting me
I’m just wasting my time

Wait a minute, this doesn’t sound right
Oh, what am I saying?
Poetry is a part of my life
I live and breathe poetry
How could I go on without it?

I’m having a bad day
I didn’t mean the things I said
Everyone has mood swings
That’s not a good excuse,
So I make a quick retraction
