OK, that’s it,
I’m not going to write any more poems
I’ve got nothing else to say
Who values my work?
I’m through with imagination
Poetry is rubbish!
I don’t even want to read it
I quit writing from now on
It’s not benefiting me
I’m just wasting my time

Wait a second, this doesn't sound right
What am I saying?
Poetry is my life
I live and breathe poetry
How could I go on without it?
I’m just having a bad day
I didn’t mean the things I said
Everyone has mood swings
That’s not a good excuse,
So I make a retraction
