I need the powerful energy of the sun to stay alive,
And I need fresh water from the rain to drink,
But I don’t need the sun and the rain as I need you.
I want recognition, wealth, prosperity, and fame.
And I want all the good things life has to offer,
But I don’t want anything as badly as I want you.
I love the mountains, the valleys, the sky, and the sea.
I also love beautiful flowers, birds, and honeybees,
But I don’t love these wonderful things as I love you.
I have an aptitude for writing poetry and love songs,
And I have a nice house, a car and a motorcycle,
But I don’t have happiness because I don’t have you.
