I am a child a precious childA
My life is a special gift from the CreatorB
Accept me and treat me as a desirable personC
Compliment me on my efforts to please youD
And fill my mind with constructive ideasE
I am a child a receptive childA
Teach me to love others not to despise themF
Comfort me when I have a low spiritG
Protect me from verbal and physical abuseH
And do not cause me to suffer or live with fearI
I am a child a submissive childA
Prepare me for the responsibilities of adulthoodJ
When I err correct me in a peaceful mannerB
Speak kindly to me at all times if it is possibleK
And never expose me to immoral entertainmentL
I am a child a promising childA
Now that I am here make me feel welcomedM
Build up my confidence and my hopeN
Do not disown me for I am your offspringO
Hold me to the bosom and be proud of meP
