I told her that my love for her would never endA
She knew that I meant every word and I would prove itB
I promised her that I would stay by her sideC
And I tried earnestly to fulfil my promiseD
I felt that our relationship could go on without consequencesE
And she believed that we could stay together for a lifetimeF
We imagined that life in fairyland was possibleG
But we were only fooling ourselvesH
-
We had a peculiar love for each otherI
And this was the only thing that mattered to usD
Life was not worth living without the love for each otherI
She wanted to marry me in spite of knowing my wifeJ
Even though she was not sure things would work out favourablyG
She occasionally encouraged me to do itB
There was a feeling of uncertainty about the outlookK
But I was too deep in love with her to back awayL
Her love was too good to be trueM
-
We ignored the principles of love and continued the affairN
She did everything I asked her to do for meO
And I did everything she wanted me to do for herI
Once she stood right in front of meO
Then she pressed her soft body against mineP
I touched her velvety face and she smiledQ
I gently stroked her long black hairN
And I trembled as I held her slender waistR
-
She quickly put her arms around my neckS
I grabbed the hem of her mini dress and pulled it above her hipT
My hands slowly moved down towards her anatomyO
And she did not resist or frownU
Suddenly she kissed me on the mouthV
And she weakened me with her seductivenessD
It felt more real than anything I had felt beforeW
Her love was too good to be trueM
-
I thought I was in heaven for the few years that I was seeing herI
Consequently I lost every trace of realityO
And I forgot that even good things come to an endA
While I loved her I had to leave herI
One slip ruined my future with the woman who loved meO
And she did not understand the reasonX
She certainly had an amative heartY
Yet she found it so hard to forgive meO
Even now I still do not know what happenedZ
-
It might have been a divine interventionX
I would love her over again if she just says the wordsD
And I would not change anything except the situation that I lost herI
I could not prevent myself from loving herI
The love I felt for her was blinding meO
But she was the only woman I wanted to seeO
It is no wonder I am still hanging on to the love of yesteryearA2
Her love was too good to be trueM
