I should’ve known that I was wasting time with Sanai.
Our romance began strangely, and it ended the same way.
I don’t know why I still love the woman who broke my heart.
Am I crazy to love my ex-girlfriend for so many years?
Old age hasn’t dampened my intense love for her.
I just can’t get the feeling of love for her out of my heart.
Sometimes I feel that I shouldn’t have wooed her,
For the loss of her love has brought me so much pain.
At other times, I’m glad that she was my sweetheart,
For it was better to have lost her than not to have met her.
I didn’t think I could love a woman for such a long time,
Neither did I know that I had an everlasting love.
I can’t even tell anybody that I really still love her,
And I don’t think she thinks I’m still in love with her.
Does any woman deserve this kind of love from a man?
Perhaps she didn’t deserve me, but she’s still on my mind.
