Death Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH

Kings and queens do not regard themselves as being equal to other peopleA
But that does not make them better human beings than the peasantsB
In the foolish imaginations of kings and queens they are high and mightyC
Moreover royalties seem to forget that they are just mortal beingsD
-
Who in this world can prevent the occurrence of sickness aging and deathE
Death is not concerned about whether a person is wealthy or poorF
And neither will death spare anybody no matter the status of the personG
Unfortunately nobody will escape the sting of death when the time comesH
