Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGHKings and queens do not regard themselves as being equal to other people | A |
But that does not make them better human beings than the peasants | B |
In the foolish imaginations of kings and queens they are high and mighty | C |
Moreover royalties seem to forget that they are just mortal beings | D |

Who in this world can prevent the occurrence of sickness aging and death | E |
Death is not concerned about whether a person is wealthy or poor | F |
And neither will death spare anybody no matter the status of the person | G |
Unfortunately nobody will escape the sting of death when the time comes | H |
