Chirpy The Fledgling 2 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDEF GDBHIJH

One morning I heard the sound of wings flappingA
And I found a fledgling in the gardenB
It was a wild but friendly little birdC
Surprisingly I caught it so easilyD
And I named the fledgling ChirpyD
I didn t know what kind of bird it wasE
Chirpy was just learning how to flyF
-
I walked around with Chirpy for a whileG
The fledgling wasn t afraid of meD
I tried to put Chirpy back in the gardenB
But the birdie didn t want to go awayH
It kept clinging to my right handI
The next morning Chirpy was on the verandaJ
And at the end of the day it flew awayH
