Antessa And I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDBEFC GHBIAC CJKLMN OPFJQR

Inspired by a photographA
-
Antessa and I were standing near the rockB
We were posing for the photographerC
Beautiful flowers embellished the gardens around usD
She turned her back to the rockB
I put my left hand around her waistE
And I gently pulled her to my sideF
Crabgrass covered the spot where our feet wereC
-
The Assembly Hall was visible in the backdropG
Scores of people were walking about on the premisesH
I pressed my posterior against the rockB
I crossed my legs and turned my head sidewaysI
As if I were taking a candid photographA
She was looking straight at the sister in front of herC
-
It was the first time we were taking a picture togetherC
We were anticipating the best possible outcomeJ
The heat of July was almost unbearableK
Her outer garment was shaking in the stiff breezeL
There was an attractive motif on her scarfM
And she was wearing a fashionable handbagN
-
The photo shoot lasted for a few momentsO
And we certainly treasured every second of itP
Lunchtime was up and we had to go insideF
I courteously escorted her to a seat in the auditoriumJ
We sat quietly and listened to the preludeQ
And we waited for the afternoon session to beginR
