In a land of rugged terrain and dusty hueA
There stood a mule strong and trueA
With a coat as smooth as morning dewA
Oh mighty mule how we admire youA
-
With hooves that chiseled through the earthB
You carried burdens proving your worthB
From dawn till dusk steadfast and sureC
Your strength and diligence hard to ignoreD
-
Oh Mule your endurance never wanedE
Through scorching heat and freezing rainF
You toiled away day after dayG
Content to serve never seeking a frayG
-
Your eyes so wise spoke volumes untoldH
A silent wisdom we longed to beholdH
In your presence tranquility would ensueA
As if the world paused just to admire youA
-
Through mountain trails you led the wayG
Navigating through challenges come what mayG
Your noble spirit an inspiration to allI
Teaching us to persevere never to stallI
-
In fields of green where wildflowers grewA
You pranced and played unaware of the viewA
With joy in your heart and a spirit so freeJ
You reminded us of how life could beJ
-
Oh Mule a creature of strength and graceK
Your presence brought solace at any paceK
Whether pulling carts or roaming wildL
You left impressions that still beguileM
-
So here's to you majestic muleN
A creature so rare so strong and coolN
May your spirit forever live onO
In the hearts of all who've crossed paths with oneP

Poet's note: No beef but directly to me I noticed that a Mule could be slow like me sometimes
