Carnivore King Stomach Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDEE FFGG HHGG IIJJ KKLL MMII

In the wild jungle there was a king so fierceA
His stomach growled a sound that piercedB
A carnivore he devoured all in his wayC
His hunger unyielding day after dayC
-
With jaws of strength sharp teeth like knivesD
He ruled over his kingdom where danger thrivesD
His stomach a cavern craving a feastE
For it hungered for flesh a primal beastE
-
Through the forest he hunted a predator so grandF
No creature was safe from his ironclad handF
He stalked through the darkness a vision of mightG
His carnivorous nature igniting the nightG
-
From deer to zebra from antelope to boarH
His appetite grew craving more and moreH
The stomach a ruler in its own rightG
Guiding the king across the darkest nightG
-
Yet his kingdom was not without its painI
For carnage and chaos left a devastating stainI
The balance disturbed the ecosystem shookJ
As the carnivore king's stomach yearned to lookJ
-
But perhaps in this tale of the carnivore kingK
An understanding we can certainly bringK
For hunger like fire can consume and destroyL
Or it can be harnessed a symbol of joyL
-
So let us hope this king in the wildM
Will learn to protect be gentle and mildM
May his stomach be satisfied never in vainI
And harmony restored from jungle to plainI
