The Hotsphere Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGFG HIHI JKLK MNMN OBOB PQPQ

The harmattan here is filled with rainA
The night has come with radiant sunB
And the dawn refuses in fear of painA
And fowls at night do play with gunsC
-
The moon hangs and beams the darkD
Pregnant clouds do shed but bloodE
The owls bleat and the hawks barkD
The battle in the sky results in floodE
-
A colourless rainbow appears aboveF
And women bear grey headed kidsG
The Moon the sun rolls in hateful loveF
Fathers and sons throw farewell bidsG
-
In the rain in the sun it is all alikeH
And the clouds lour as if to burstI
The spear poses in a way to strikeH
The dagger as well it is full of thirstI
-
Alas the war is here the war is thereJ
In fierce battlefield termites arriveK
Who needs eyewear to steer the fearL
When eagles part to keep aliveK
-
With no bodyguard don't join the warM
For the front is hot it needs the braveN
And the hazy dust is thick with soreM
It is not as a camp in all night raveN
-
I can join in the war but I have no armO
I can strike I can kill but I have no gunB
No forte no hands to carry firearmO
Think not coward for I am not the oneB
-
But my mouth at work to do its bestP
To call the Lord to render full peaceQ
And bring the row the clash to restP
So the shots the hots come to ceaseQ
