| But never damn'd for a case of lie | B |
| I deal with the metier of moment | C |
| For my minds do not still but fly | B |

| The world is too much with us | D |
| We live and make others live | E |
| With this pen and magnum opus | D |
| We regale and make it alive | E |

| When I lay for the work in my den | F |
| My minds from me do depart | G |
| To fetch the matter for the pen | F |
| Soon my wits do return to th' heart | G |

| For a whole my minds and I ideate | G |
| The nature is such for Poet Laureate | G |
