Adamically admitted
into the world,
Tears mock him on arrival
She nursed and nurtured him
He rumpled and suckled her breast.
That was some decades ago
During his salad days,
Life was mummied and daddied
Tears attract attention
At his beck and call.
From toddler to hustler
He fought the tyranny of time
Grace speaks for him,
Favour suspends all protocols.
Though stranded he strives
The enemy within mocks him
Hope smiles at him,
His walls warriously guarded
by Host of Angels.
January graciously ordained
To rejoice and remember his
womb escape,
Thankful and thoughtful he is,
To the King of Kings
Who knows his end from the beginning.
