Love is a mysterious thingA
Circumstances determines who you loveB
Many a man has fallen victim of its stingA
Its slaps and makes a man roveC

Love is pain and gainD
My heart deeply clings to herE
Worried my heart is but she worth the painD
I hear jungle drums telegraphing afarF

Then I hear a wailing piano callingA
Her voice rises and falls in melodyG
My heart whispers to my toes to keep walkingA
Then the piano became rowdyG

Her melodious voice arrest my soulH
The mystic rhythm of her voice heals my soulH

Poet's note: This is a love poem. It captures the romantic nature of man in a jungle. It also captures the theme of clash of culture between western culture and Africa culture. The poem has four stanzas with rhyming scheme (ababcdcdefefgg).
