To A Brook Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACADEDFDFDGG

Sweet brook I've met thee many a summer's dayA
And ventured fearless in thy shallow floodB
And rambled oft thy sweet unwearied wayA
'Neath willows cool that on thy margin stoodC
With crowds of partners in my artless playA
Grasshopper beetle bee and butterflyD
That frisked about as though in merry moodE
To see their old companion sporting byD
Sweet brook life's glories then were mine and thineF
Shade clothed thy spring that now doth naked lieD
On thy white glistening sand the sweet woodbineF
Darkened and dipt its flowers I mark and sighD
And muse o'er troubles since we met the lastG
Like two fond friends whose happiness is pastG
